I have been offering cosmetic acupuncture and microneedling since 2018. Before taking Amelia and Diana’s class in October 2023, I have been doing my own research to better understand skin and which active ingredients and Chinese herbs work best to address different skin conditions. After taking Amelia and Diana’s class, I gained more confidence in not only understanding skin from a TCM and Western perspective but how to complement my holistic skin services with conventional skin services. With this new knowledge and skill set, I was able to take my current skin services to the next level. After using the Procell MD device, I could not go back to my microneedling pen. The Procell MD device is so easy to use but what I really love most is that it reduces the trauma to the skin by using a stamping motion instead of a sliding or dragging motion. The trauma and inflammation caused by my old pen increased patient downtime. My microneedling patients are now experiencing less downtime and seeing results in the first treatment of using Procell. I signed up for this course on impulse and am so glad that I did because although there are plenty of online courses available, I’m finding less opportunities for hands-on experience in a post-Covid world. I believe the course is organized and delivered extremely well. Amelia and Diana presented the whole content clearly, one step at a time, not leaving any important part aside or for later. The fact that the whole process can be followed online is amazing. I have taken other classes through the internet and either the pictures were poor or the sound system didn’t work. Not in this program! I also appreciate the extensive research about Western Medicine regarding Microneedling. I believe they covered everything. I am truly thankful for sharing not only their experience but also for giving us materials to modify and use in our own practice.
